The Wave Desk is the first work in the Design 100 Project, created in 2019–2020 and inspired by a feature wall encountered at the Singapore Airport during travels in Asia. Crafted from oak, the desk translates that moment of visual rhythm into a sculptural form, with carved slats that rise and fall like waves moving through the piece. The flowing contours give the desk a sense of motion, as if the wood itself were shifting with light and shadow. As the inaugural Design 100 work, it sets the tone for the collection — thoughtful, material‑forward, and rooted in the places and experiences that shape our creative lives. The Wave Desk provenance was the 1st minted piece in the Design 100 Project on the Base Mainnet Blockchain. It was minted on May 19, 2026 and is one of the first pieces of handcrafted wood furniture to have such asset protection.
