This walnut desk was produced in 2017 from wood donated by my friend and colleague, Dr. Robert Kossmann. This wood came from upstate New York and was walnut that has been kept in a family barn for several decades prior to building the desk. The concept was a floating top with floating drawers made with simple construction. The wood has beautiful natural knots and one works perfectly as an area for cables and cords to transit through the top of the desk. It is now in use in Lincoln, MA.
